Hautlence produce very special timepieces, now they have something new to add to all their other wonderful stuff - the Hautlence Avant-Garde Collection....
.... and it's superb, presented in a generous TV-Screen case measuring 46mm across and with a broad bezel for a frame, this series is created to be more attainable price-wise and more sporty in appearance than it's predecessors, but still, it's hardly a timepiece for the masses and if you get only one opportunity - ever - to hold/touch/wear/buy a watch such as this, grasp the chance without justification.
The dial is mesmerising - jumping hours, retrograde minutes and a small seconds dial - one part playful to two parts complex. It has been creating using sapphire, in fact there are two lucent dials onto which the indications have been etched adding depth and further interest, as if it were needed.
There are choices too, each with a steel and titanium case - one with the luxury of Rose Gold, one which features indications animated with blue tones and the other with a blackened DLC coated case, a textured dial and rather fabulous orange indications.
